The Australian Institute of Architects (South Australian Chapter) Prizes Undergraduate

Whereas the Australian Institute of Architects (South Australian Chapter) has agreed to provide annual prizes to the School of Architecture and Built Environment.

Rules and Eligibility

In each group of courses the prize shall be awarded to the student enrolled in the program for the degree of Bachelor of Architectural Design who, in the annual assessment, obtains the highest aggregate of results in that group of courses. Three prizes shall be awarded following groups of courses in the Bachelor of Architectural Design:

  • Level I Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses:
    • New prize rule from 2012: replace courses with Design Studio 1 (DESST 1503) / History Theory 1 (DESST 1505) / Representation 1 (DESST 1) – Sem 1 & Design Studio 2 (DESST 1506) / Environment 1 (DESST 1508) / Construction 1 (DESST 1507)
  • Level II Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses:
    • New prize rule from 2012: replace courses with Design Studio 3 (DESST 2516) / Environment 2 (DESST 2517) / Construction 2 (DESST 2518) / Design Studio 4 (DESST 2519) / History Theory 2 (DESST 2521) & Representation 2 (DESST 2520)
  • Level III Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses:
    • New prize rule from 2012: replace courses with Design Studio 5 (DESST 3513) / Construction 3 (DESST 3514) / Representation 3 (DESST 3515) / Design Studio 6 (DESST 3516) / Environment 3 (DESST 3517) & History Theory 3 (DESST 3518)
