2017 Graeme Hugo Memorial Scholarship (Semester 2)

For this year only, applications are now open to undergraduate students for the 2017 Graeme Hugo Memorial Scholarship (Semester 2).

The Scholarship is to the value of $5,000 and will be offered to a successful recipient in accordance with the Scholarship rules.*

*In reference to rule no. 12, the scholarship is now being offered to an eligible Faculty of Arts undergraduate student enrolled in either:

  • Level III Environmental Policy and Management Internship or
  • Level III Arts Internship

The scholarship will include an internship with the Department of State Development and will involve undertaking a project that is of value to the Government and count towards the recipient’s course assessment.

Professor Graeme Hugo AO was an Australian demographer, academic and geographer. He served as the Director of the Hugo Centre for Migration and Population Research at the University of Adelaide. He passed away on 20 January 2015.
