CSER welcomes Sue Carter – Project Officer for the Northern Territory!

CSER would like to welcome our newest Project Officer, Sue Carter, representing the Northern Territory!

SueCarterLSue Carter has worked in NT Education for 30 years starting out as a primary school classroom teacher in Nhulunbuy in 1986. Her experiences include early childhood and primary teaching, PE specialist, Teacher Librarian and ICT specialist completing a Master’s degree in Technology in 1997. One of her career highlights has been the one year teaching exchange program in the UK in 1999.

Sue has always had a passion for ICT in the classroom and has worked as an ICT consultant for over 10 years in the Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and Alice Springs regions. During this time Sue has been responsible for managing NT wide projects including 21st century skills (2009), Scootle (2008-2011), Cybersafety (2009-2011), One Laptop Per Child (2010-2012) and ICT Capability (2011-2012).

For the past three years Sue has work as the Australian Curriculum: Technologies and The Arts consultant across NT schools. Her areas of interest include Digital Technologoes, Cybersafety, Mobile Devices, Robotics and Coding. Welcome Sue!
