ECIC Alumni Invited to Speak at Pre-CHOGM Conference

ECIC graduate and lecturer, Sharon Zivkovic, has been invited to speak at the Commonwealth Conference 2010: Citizenship and the Commonwealth held in Windsor (UK) in November 2010. As the first speaker of the conference, Sharon will be discussing issues of education and citizenship in ‘Strengthening democracy in the Commonwealth through a soft-power active citizenship pedagogy’.

Sharon has also had a paper accepted in the International Social Innovation Research Conference: Partnerships, Hybrids and Networks to be held at the Säid Business School, University of Oxford in September 2010.

Added to these accomplishments, Sharon has been nominated as a Young Researcher in Public Administration by the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) and has been selected to contribute to a video project to accompany the publishing of a book entitled: European Group for Public Administration (1975-2010): Perspectives for the Future to mark the 35th Anniversary of the EGPA.

The ECIC is delighted that an alumni is making meaningful contributions to high profile international discourse and research in innovation and entrepreneurship.
