Integrating Innovation: South Australian Entrepreneurship Systems and Strategies

Edited by Göran Roos and Allan O’Connor

The necessity is upon us to re-think how innovation happens and how the respective actors within an economy interact and engage with each other. Innovation relies on intersections between people, knowledge, information sharing, ideas, financial and other resources. Innovation happens through regional social and economic system dynamics; innovation relies on a systems view of entrepreneurship. In this book the authors are exploring how the linkages within the system can be conceptualised and made transparent.

A number of ECIC and University staff have contributed to the work and we would like to congratulate all authors for their contribution. These include (in order of appearance):
Kym Teh
Huanmei Li
Fiona Kerr
Eva Ballan-Vnuk
Vernon Ireland
Graciela Corral de Zubielqui
Jiwat Ram

We also have contributions from University of South Australia and Flinders University with a Foreword written by Megan Antcliff, Director Strategic Projects and Innovation at the SA government Department of State Development.

We sincerely hope this eBook contributes to your understanding about entrepreneurship and innovation in a systems manner.

Our thanks also to The University of Adelaide Press for their commitment to achieving a professional outcome.
