Respect. Now. Always.

At the University of Adelaide, we are determined to prevent sexual assault and sexual harassment and support those affected.

We welcome yesterday’s release of the Australian Human Rights Commission survey of university students across all 39 Australian universities.

You can find the results for the University of Adelaide at the Safer Campus Community website. This website provides comprehensive information about sexual respect, unacceptable behaviour, and reporting an incident: http://www.adelaide.edu.au/safer-campus-community

All students are welcome to attend a student forum being held tomorrow (Wednesday), 4.15pm to 5.15pm in Napier 102. A video stream of the forum will be shown at Waite Campus (Charles Hawker 130 McLeod Lecture Theatre) and Roseworthy (Vet Science G05-07 Combined).

This forum is being held together with the Adelaide University Union and the Adelaide University Student Representative Council to discuss the survey results, hear from students and give details of the supports available.

If you need support, or want to report an incident, please use the following numbers:
– National support line: 1800 572 224
