Academic Achievement Acknowledgement Breakfast
Wednesday 21st September, 2011
The School of Economics recently invited selected high achieving students to a breakfast where they were recognised for their achievements. The students have been identified as excellent prospective candidates for the Economics honours program in 2012. The students heard from Head of the School- Professor Mandar Oak, and current Economics honours students who were able to share stories of their studies, experiences whilst being an honours student, and the benefits of doing the additional year of study upon completion of an undergraduate degree. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet and mingle with people who had similar interests, and all whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast provided by the School.
A wonderful morning enjoyed by all- we look forwards to welcoming next year’s honours students to the School of Economics in 2012!
