School of Economics Hosts Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz and Economics Students for an Intimate Q and A Session

On Thursday 26th of June, the School of Economics had the pleasure of hosting Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz, the Young Economists of South Australia, Economics PhD students, and Bachelor of Economics (Advanced) students for an intimate Q & A session. The group of 40 students were able to speak directly to Professor Stiglitz about economics issues concerning them, the future of macro and micro economics and potential career paths and prospects. This was a fantastic chance for staff and students alike to engage with one of the key economic thinkers in our recent history, and helped demonstrate the opportunities that a degree in economics can lead to.
