Clean Up Australia Day – Sunday 3 March
Join the Adelaide Sustainability Drinks Team and take part in Clean Up Australia Day, Sunday 3 March.
Clean Up site is River Street, Hindmarsh – meeting at 10am opposite the Jolly Miller Hotel.

The Office of Sustainability presents,
e-Recycling 2012
on Friday 23 November 2012 at the North Terrace, Roseworthy and Waite Campuses.
Items can be dropped off between 8:30 am – 5.00 pm at one of marked collection points.

The National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme begins in South Australia today with the start of free recycling services in Adelaide.

FREE e-waste collection for all metropolitan householders – Download poster here!
Unwanted computer and electrical equipment can be dropped off for recycling at the locations below, free of charge. Your e-waste can then be recycled into many components, instead of going into landfill.
Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December, between 9am – 4pm at drop-off points.

ReUSEathon!
The ReUSEathon yesterday was a great success, thanks to all that donated and participated. Together we saved hundreds of books, mugs, folders and other stationery items from landfill! The Ecoveristy team hope you found some useful gems! See photos of the event here!
Remember this when you use paper towel next!
Remember this! If 1 out of 4 adults replaced paper-towels with normal towels for a year, it would be equivalent to;
1) savings trees for an area equal to area of Alaska state,
2) Reduce landfill equal to 4 times of area of Fenway park and,
3) Cut CO2 equivalent to emission of 815000 cars!
