CET’s expression of interest application for ASI funding has been successful.

The Centre for Energy Technology (CET) has recently been informed that its Expression of Interest application submitted in collaboration with Heliotherm Ltd was successful and it has now been selected to submit a full proposal for Australian Solar Institute (ASI) funding in Round 2. This is a highly competitive selection process through the ASI’s Research Advisory Committee, with only approximately one third of proponents invited to submit full proposals.

The project “Development of novel hybrid technologies to integrate solar radiation with other energy sources for reduced cost solar thermal power”, has already been awarded approximately $1.5m in funding from the South Australian Government.
