Working with Government & Industry Information Session – Event

The landscape of academic research funding is changing. Diminishing government funding and increased competition has left researchers from across all disciplines looking for alternative sources to resource projects. Collaboration with government and industry is one option to consider, with benefits to be had beyond money.

Adelaide Research & Innovation will host a free information session on Friday 10th August 2012 at the Art Gallery of South Australia for those interested in learning more about this type of engagement.
Speakers will include:

  • Associate Professor Rachel Ankeny, School of History and Politics
  • Associate Professor Simon Koblar, Stroke Research Program
  • Dr Bruce Northcote, Director, Defence Communications & Information Networking Centre
  • Professor David Adelson, Head of School, Molecular & Biomedical Sciences
