European Climate Diplomacy Day is part of a global effort by the European Union to Australia and New Zealand, the French Embassy, the Belgian Embassy, the German Embassy, the Spanish Embassy and the British High Commission to raise awareness of climate change issues and to encourage informed debate in view of the United Nations climate change conference, taking place in Paris at the end of the year. Events are planned for cities all around the globe, including seven locations in Australia.
In Adelaide, South Australia, the Hawke EU Centre for Mobilities, Migrations and Cultural Transformations (University of South Australia), and The EU Centre for Global Affairs (The University of Adelaide) invite you to attend the Australian premiere of the documentary film, “The Climate Blueprint”, directed by Fran X Rodriguez and Ruth Chao (produced by Intuitive Productions & Somadrome).
The screening will be followed with a keynote by South Australian Minister for Climate Change, the Honourable Mr Ian Hunter MLC, as well as an expert panel discussion involving representatives from the business and scientific communities, as well as representatives of the EU delegation to Australia discussing the continuing impacts of climate change.
