Indigenous Summer Clerkship – 2018

The Legal Services Commission provides a range of legal information, advice, education and representation services. As part of our development program we offer paid Indigenous Clerkships for students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. This program provides the perfect stepping stone to a career in the legal assistance sector.

The Role

As well as a general introduction to the Legal Services Commission you will have an opportunity to spend time in each of the core practice areas (Advice, Criminal Law and Family Law) and undertake a range of duties including:
• Legal research;

• Drafting documents; and

• Observing matters in court.

Placement Date: 29 January 2018 – 23 February 2018 Location: Adelaide
