Welcome to the International Student Support (ISS) News & Events blog! The blog has been developed to supplement the International Students’ weekly newsletter, which we email to your student email each teaching week (please read it carefully, as it includes important information about your student visa!). Staff from the ISS will update this blog regularly throughout the year with information about what’s on in Adelaide and at the University. You will also find links and information about other opportunities for international students.
If you’re an international student, there’s a good chance you’ve seen a member of the Peer Mentor program around campus.
This year, Peer Mentors wear a lime green shirt, and have been helping during Orientation, at the weekly Morning Teas, and coordinating the Language and Cultural Engagement (LCE) program. Being a Peer Mentor is a great way to gain experience in event coordination and project management – plus you can make a lot of new friends from all around the world.
Applications to become a Peer Mentor from Semester 2 2017 are now open! Check out the Peer Mentor page for more information and to lodge your application today.
