‘Compulsory Voting for First Time Voters in Britain’ – Professor Sarah Birch
‘Compulsory Voting: Hazards and Benefits’ – Professor Lisa Hill

Professor Sarah Birch (University of Glasgow) and Professor Lisa Hill (University of Adelaide), two of the leading experts in the field, will talk about compulsory voting.

Sarah Birch is Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Glasgow. She is author of Full Participation: A Comparative Study of Compulsory Voting, United Nations University Press, 2009.

Lisa Hill is a Professor in Politics at the University of Adelaide. She is author (with Jason Brennan) of Compulsory Voting: For and Against, Cambridge University Press, 2014
