For those anticipating graduating at the end of Semester 1 2012, Sunday 1 July 2012 was the last day to confirm an automatic application or apply to have your award conferred via Access Adelaide. If you have applied to graduate, please note the following important dates and deadlines:

1. 5pm on Thursday 19 July 2012:  For Masters by research and PhD students only, this is the last day to submit the final, bound copies of your thesis to the Graduate Centre.
2. Monday 23 July 2012: You must log into Access Adelaide to view your Graduation Status Letter. This will notify you of your eligibility or ineligibility to graduate.
3. 12pm (noon) on Thursday 26 July 2012: Last day to use BPAY to resolve any outstanding debts that are preventing you from graduating.
4. 5pm on Monday 30 July 2012: Last day to resolve any issues preventing you from graduating, or change any name details or award details.
5. Friday 31 July 2012: Last day to apply for in person or in absentia presentation events.

Parchments from the April 2012 Graduation Presentation Ceremonies are now available for collection.

If you chose not to attend a ceremony in April, but indicated that you or your authorised representative would collect the parchment, or have the parchment posted to you after the April Graduation Presentation ceremonies, then the following information will apply.

If you have chosen to collect the parchment, then you or your nominated representative (with written authorisation from you), can now collect the parchment from the Contact Centre (Level 4, Wills Building). Photographic identification of yourself or your nominated representative will need to be presented at the time of collection.

If you have elected to have your parchment posted, this will be actioned during May, provided you have paid the appropriate postage cost: $15 for an address within Australia, or $30 for an address outside Australia. If you have not paid postage, please forward a cheque to the Graduations Office, made payable to The University of Adelaide. As your parchment is a valuable legal document, it is posted only by registered mail or by official courier to ensure safe delivery.

Your parchment will be sent to the Home Address which the University has on its records for you. Please ensure that you advise the University via Access Adelaide in plenty of time if your home address changes.

If you have recently graduated and have indicated that you will be attending a graduation presentation ceremony in April, you can now log into Access Adelaide and request additional guest tickets. You have until close of business on Thursday 15 March 2012 to apply for extra tickets. The Graduations office will endeavour to meet your ticketing requests, however due to space restrictions in Bonython Hall it is not always possible to meet everyone’s requests for extra tickets.

Please note that if you are receiving both awards at one ceremony you will only receive one standard ticket allocation. You are free to apply for additional tickets using your Access Adelaide account.

If you are ineligible for any reason, you have until the Anomalies Deadline of  5:00pm on Thursday, 22 December 2011 to resolve those issues in order to be included in the event.
Research students should note that the Thesis Deadline is earlier than the Anomalies Date.

For any anomalies with regard to your academic qualifications, you should contact your Faculty/School or the Graduate Centre. Please note that your Faculty/School or the Graduate Centre are the only ones who can provide accurate details about your eligibility in this regard. 

For any outstanding financial obligations, you should contact the relevant financial sections of the University.

Conferral statements will appear on academic transcripts from Friday 5 August and an email will be sent to your student email address as confirmation. Please check your unofficial academic transcript in Access Adelaide to ensure the information is correct before coming into the Student Centre to purchase your official academic transcript.
