THE JOANNA BRIGGS INSTITUTE – HIGHER DEGREES BY RESEARCH PROGRAM – NOW CONSIDERING 2016 CANDIDATES

The Joanna Briggs Institute – Higher Degrees by Research Program is currently considering candidates for its February 2016 intake of students.

This is a research degree covered under the Government’s Research Training Scheme (RTS), which means it has no fees attached (to Australian & NZ citizens and/or residents). Further, as it is a research degree, there is no expectation to attend weekly lectures or submit regular written assignments. This program is perfect for busy health professionals, as it can be completed in full time enrolment capacity with minimal contact hours, or remotely for interstate participates. The program is based upon the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and software for systematic reviews, which are the same methodologies and software that are used by the Institute’s Global Collaboration of 75 Centres and Entities around the world. All students are given intensive training in the methodologies and software and then undertake a systematic review on a topic of their choice, which forms the basis of a dissertation.

If you have a colleague or know of anyone that may be interested in taking part in this program, please have them contact me at Alex.Mignone@adelaide.edu.au for further information.
