It’s been known for many years that it isn’t just what’s inside the bottle that influences consumer opinions about quality and willingness to pay. There are a number of extrinsic cues, in fact, that at times are even more powerful than how the wine actually tastes.  Attached is a short article that reveals how label styles, country of origin and closure types, for example also come into play when consumers evaluation alternative wine offers.
