ACVT is working with the Australian Plant Accelerator on image-based phenomics and there are opportunities for co-supervised postgraduate scholarships.

Image-based technology is being used to construct computerised 3D models of plants that will be able to accurately estimate plant yield of new cereal varieties well before grain production.

The intent is to use image analysis to understand the shape of plants so that we can automatically and rapidly measure plant structural properties and how they change over time.
