Staff profile: Dr Joy McEntee

Award-winning teacher Dr Joy McEntee joined the University of Adelaide in 1998 and currently lectures in American literature and film in the Discipline of English and Creative Writing.

Dr McEntee has received a number of distinctions based on the quality of her teaching, including a Stephen Cole Prize for Excellence in Teaching (2000), a Fulbright American Studies Institute Award (2002) and a Carrick Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning (2006).

In this video Dr McEntee discusses her teaching style, the changing landscape of the student demographic and why a Bachelor of Arts degree will stand the test of time in the modern workplace.
