Ageing Well Revolution Conference

The University of Adelaide sponsored the Ageing Well Revolution Conference which was presented by the Economic Development Board on 22 – 23 November.

The conference program was developed to inspire international, national and local businesses to engage with the Ageing Well sector, and encourage discussion about the role of social and business innovation in connecting consumers, products and communities.

Neural and Systems Complexity Specialist from the University of Adelaide, Dr Fiona Kerr facilitated the session on Food for Ageing Well. Professor Anton van den Hengel, School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide was a panelist on the session focusing on ‘big data’: Inside and out – how can insights from big data analytics lead to opportunities to improve medical diagnoses, promote ageing in place and reduce healthcare costs.
