Vital funds raised in the Cancer Council Relay for Life

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February staff from The University of Adelaide took part in the annual Cancer Council Relay for Life.

Relay For Life is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate those who have overcome cancer or are undergoing treatment, as well as the people who care for them. Community and corporate teams participate in a 19 hour, overnight relay.

Participants are encouraged to fundraise in the lead up to the event, with all money raised supporting the Cancer Council’s vital research, prevention and support services.

The University of Adelaide ‘Degreelays‘ team raised over $2,400 for the Cancer Council and would like to thank the university community for their support.
