Dr Martin Andrew has been elected as the graduate member of the University of Adelaide Council. Martin will serve a two-year term from 6 September 2018 to 5 September 2020.
Martin graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BSc(Hons) and a PhD. He is also a former academic staff member of the University and, in the 1970s, served as a student member of the University Council and again in the early 1990s as a graduate.
Martin is a business consultant, a Sessional Commissioner of the Environment, Resources and Development Court and a board member. His 40-year career has spanned agricultural research, academia, rural R&D management, program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, environmental consulting, global quality management and process improvement.
Martin is excited by the opportunity to serve on the University Council: “I wish to contribute again to this University’s direction and well-being in the face of the opportunities and threats.”
