Students and academics at the University of Adelaide celebrated the opening of the new Fifth Year Studio recently. Designed by Phillips Pilkington Architects, this student focused area is a fully equipped and dedicated studio space for the Final Year Architecture and Landscape Architecture Masters students.
Ms Tanya Court, Program Coordinator (Bachelor of Design Studies and Master of Landscape Architecture) welcomed the attendees and stated that this is an exciting development for both students and staff. She acknowledged the effort for those involved in getting this space from draft to fruition.
Attendees to the launch included Prof Christopher Findlay (Executive Dean), Tim Horton (Commissioner for Integrated Design, Integrated Design Commission SA), Susan Phillips and Michael Pilkington (Phillips Pilkington Architects), Cook Building & Development Pty Ltd, fellow colleagues and students.
