Following an international career path that began at the University of Adelaide and continued at the University of Cambridge, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and the University of Geneva, Roderick has studied, published and taught a transdisciplinary approach for planning the built environment from the micro-scale of housing units to urban residential neighbourhoods. Today Roderick’s contribution is recorded in several books and numerous peer reviewed journals. He continues to tackle these complex subjects in various roles as Emeritus Professor at the Geneva School of Social Sciences (G3S) since 2015, as Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Environment and Development at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) since 2011, and most recently as Honorary Adjunct Professor at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at the University of Adelaide.
