The Centre of Research Excellence in Primary Oral Health Care (CRE) is part of the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health.

CRE is being funded by the Australian Primary Health Care Research Institute (APHCRI) to identify the lack of oral health within marginalised groups in collaboration with the University of Tasmania and the University of Western Australia. There are four themes in the areas of aged care: rural dwellers, indigenous people and those identified with a physical or intellectual disability and eight projects that stem from these.
