Study? Travel? Why Not Both?

Applications are now open for the AIM Overseas January 2016 intensive program.

These are academic short courses taught during the holidays by some of the world’s leading universities. They are designed to count for credit and meet the requirements for the $6362 OS-HELP loan.

These programs make the most of their location, frequently including lots of site visits and field trips to places that increase your learning, giving you an experience that simply could not be replicated in a classroom in Australia.

Immigrants, Human Rights and Society: Mexico as a Migration Case Study – Mexico

International Relations and Politics in the EU: Peace, Conflicts and Human Rights – The Netherlands

Political Change in the Middle East: Can Turkey Play a Role? – Turkey

History of the Inca Civilisation – Peru

“My favourite day was the day we visited a shelter on the train tracks in the morning followed by the simulated border crossing at night. Whilst looking at history of cultures in a museum is fascinating, experiencing how different life is NOW for some migrants in Mexico has much more impact. I enjoyed being able to see a shelter in action and meet people riding “the beast”.”
