$3,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant opportunities for Creative Arts and Design students

Study and intern in Indonesia – Summer 2019

$3,000 New Colombo Plan mobility grants are available to undergraduate students from The University of Adelaide wishing to spend Summer 2019 studying in Indonesia on ACICIS Study Indonesia’s Creative Arts and Design Professional Practicum (CADPP).

ACICIS’ Creative Arts and Design Professional Practicum (CADPP) provides students a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience working in Indonesia’s vibrant contemporary arts scene. Students attend two weeks of academic tuition, including Indonesian language classes and a series of seminars and fieldtrips, prior to undertaking a four-week supervised practicum placement (internship) in an Indonesian creative arts and design workplace environment.

No background in Indonesian language is required to participate in this program. More information in this study option is available here.

Academic credit toward University of Adelaide degrees is available to participants undertaking ACICIS’ Creative Arts and Design Professional Practicum.

New Colombo Plan mobility grant applicants must be undergraduate (Bachelor Pass or Honours degree) students, Australian Citizens and between 18 and 28 years of age on the program start date (2 January 2019).  However, 30 percent of the total grant recipients for any given program (Australia-wide) may be over the age of 28. Therefore, students who do not meet this age criteria are still strongly encouraged to apply. Grant recipients must be undertaking the ACICIS program for academic credit towards their The University of Adelaide degree.
