Walsh appointed head of ICFS advisory board

The International Centre for Financial Services, a for Financial Services, a professional centre within the Faculty of the Professions works primarily with input of academics in the Business School. It continued to engage with the business community in 2010 with the support of an influential Advisory Board.

Matt Walsh, Head of Lifeplan and General Manager Specialised Products Australian Unity Products Management has succeeded the inaugural Chair of the Advisory Board, John O’Shaughnessy. Matt will continue to enhance the role of Advisory Board in seeking industry support for ICFS’s projects and communicating research results to the wider financial services industry.

Other industry representatives on the Board are Andrea Slattery, CEO SPAA, Kerrin Falconer, SA Chair FPA, Colin Taylor, Con Michalakis, Head of Investments Statewide, Dr Martin Fahy, CEO Finsia and prominent academics Prof Fred McDougall, Prof Ralf Zurbrugg and Assoc. Prof Barry Burgan.
