Dr Nam Nguyen (School of Business) has been elected as a Vice President (2014-2016) of the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR). The IFSR is the ‘mother’ organisation which has 43 member organisations and systems societies, from all continents, under its ‘umbrella’. This is a great achievement for Nam, who was a former Vice President (2012-13) of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS) and a Recipient of a prestigious 2011 Australian Leadership Award. Nam’s new role in the IFSR would contribute significantly to the international profile of the Faculty of the Professions and the Business School”
