AACSB International (AACSB) announced in early February that Adelaide Business School (ABS) has been awarded a five year re-accreditation, making the school part of an elite group of only 5% of business schools worldwide accredited through AACSB.
“During this peer-review process schools must demonstrate alignment with AACSB’s global accreditation standards, as well as how they encourage engagement, innovation, and impact across the communities they serve.” said Robert D. Reid, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. “Across this multi-year review process, schools must not only meet the initial standards of excellence, but they must demonstrate their ongoing commitment to quality and distinction by participating a continuous improvement review process every five years”, continued Reid.
Achieving re-accreditation with AACSB International has re-established our School’s recognition for the highest quality in business education, and has placed ABS amongst the world’s best – along with Harvard, Stanford, and London Business School.
Dean of Business, Professor Mark Gabbott has extended his thanks to all involved in this process. “The AACSB peer review visit was a fantastic demonstration of staff, students, alumni, and our industry advisory boards coming together to articulate and celebrate our successes. The accreditation through AACSB International is important to ensuring our international brand, and I am grateful to our extended community for their commitment to help us secure re-accreditation”.
