Welcome Ivanhoe Grammar School, China- Power Footy students tour the University of Adelaide

The Adelaide Business School was delighted to act as host to students from Ivanhoe Grammar School, China today.  Visiting Australia as part of Port Adelaide Football Club’s Power Footy program, the students enjoyed an exclusive tour of the University of Adelaide.

The students were greeted by Faculty of the Professions Executive Dean, Professor Christopher Findlay, and Mr Shane Smith, Port Adelaide Football Club’s Chief Financial Officer, before they set off to see the best the University has to offer.

A campus tour led by student ambassadors gave the students a peek into life at the University of Adelaide.  Students were wowed at the ThincLab thanks to an impressive augmented reality display and a dancing robot, and were impressed by our new Financial Markets Lab and the teaching spaces at the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building.

After a full day, every one was exhausted, but energy levels remained high as the exciting possibility of student life at Adelaide sunk in.

We look forward to welcoming more Power Footy students to campus.
