The preliminary finals of the Hanyu Qiao Chinese Bridge Chinese Speaking Competition for high school students will be held on Friday June 24.
Join the Confucius Institute as we welcome the best Chinese language students from SA, WA, NT and the ACT as they compete for the right to represent Australia at the international finals in China in October.
The competition features cultural performances and speeches from the students as well as special guest artists.
The Hanyu Qiao provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of students learning Chinese and encourage them to continue their passion for the language.
The 2011 Hanyu Qiao preliminary finals will be held at the National Wine Centre of Australia, from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Friday June 24.
The competition is open to the public, but as numbers are strictly limited please register early to guarantee your seat.
