Confucius Institute wins at the 2013 HKABA SA Awards

On Friday July 19th, the Confucius Institute was recognised by the Hong Kong Australia Business Association’s SA Chapter as the 2103 award winner of the “Contribution to Professional and Financial Services” category.

HKABA’s Business Awards & Gala Dinner was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and was attended by around 300 guests from the South Australian Business community. VIPs attending included The Honourable Alexander Downer AC, Lieutenant Governor Hieu Van Le AO and Opposition Leader Steven Marshall MP.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide is very honoured to receive this recognition and is proud to have built up such a strong reputation in SA’s business community through our China Briefings Series, China Business Training Program and strategic advice given to businesses and governments throughout SA.

Much thanks goes to all Confucius Institute staff both past and present and extra thanks goes to our Deputy Director, Dr Zhang Ning for her great acceptance speech on the night.
