Confucius Institute Hosts the HSK Test

As the only authorised Testing Centre in South Australia for the ¬†Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) and Youth Chinese Test (YCT), the Confucius Institute held 2013’s second HSK Examination on July 21 for 11 registered test takers from SA and the ACT¬†covering the levels HSK 2 to HSK 5.

The HSK is an important language competency test and recognised throughout China and much of the world as a similar equivalent to say the IELTS and TOEFL tests for English. Covering the levels 1-6 with 6 being the most proficient, those with a high level HSK certificate are then able to get into a Chinese university and also have a strong advantage when applying for a job in China or a China-related job around the world.

If you are interested in registering for the next HSK test to be held in December 2013, please contact the Confucius Institute at: or visit our HSK Test page.
