The Chinese Language Teachers Association SA held their Annual Conference at the University of Adelaide on August 17.
Over 50 teachers from primary, secondary, government and non-government schools attended the 2013 CLTA SA conference. As well as hosting the AGM, the whole day program included a number of professional development and best practices workshops focusing on a range of topics such as online resources, literacy and using authentic texts.
A number of presentations were also made by academics such Dr. Delia Lin (University of Adelaide), Jill Wilson (Education Services Australia) and Andrew Scrimgeour (UNISA) and a new committee was voted in with thanks given to the outgoing president Ms. Nhu Trinh and welcoming in the new president Ms. Kathy Purvis.
The Confucius Institute was very happy to host this conference and is a strong supporter of the CLTASA.
