4 August 2014 Public Seminar: Community Engagement by Chinese Firms in Australia: Practices and Benefits

On Monday 4 August 2014  the Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide and the Australia-China Business Council (SA) hosted an informative public lecture with Dr Xueli Huang and Dr Warren Staple of RMIT University. Dr Huang and Dr Staples shared their paper’s objectives, including: promoting the best practices of community engagement by Chinese companies in Australia, enhancing the awareness of the importance of community engagement among Chinese firms; and promoting the social benefits of Chinese investment to the Australian public, communities and government.
