Research Associate and PhD scholarship in privacy-preserving computation available at University of Adelaide

Two research positions funded by Australian Research Council are available in the School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide: one post-doctoral Research Associate at starting salary $75,111 per annum for two years initially with the possibility of extension to an additional year depending on available funding, and one PhD scholarship at AUD$25,406 per annum for three years. Both positions are expected to start by 1 July 2015.

For the Research Associate position, a PhD in computer science with strong ability in both theory and experimentation is required. Research experience in privacy-preserving data mining and network traffic analysis is highly desirable. 

For the PhD scholarship, applicants should have achieved First Class Honours or Master by Research equivalent in computer science from a reputable institution, and must satisfy the University’s English language requirements. Suitably qualified overseas applicants may apply for fee waiver scholarships from the University.
