Computer Science at the University of Adelaide has advanced to number 43 in the world according to the 2017 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering. Adelaide is 4th in Australia just behind three other Group of Eight Universities but leads Australia in two of the indicators used in the ranking, average impact of papers (CNCI) and percentage of papers authored with international collaborators (IC). Adelaide is ranked 4th and 14th in the world on the CNCI and IC indicators respectively.
