CSER welcomes Lauren Stanhope – Project Officer for Queensland!

CSER is very excited to welcome Lauren Stanhope to the CSER team! Lauren will be representing the CSER team in Queensland. As a Digital Technologies Teacher in a Queensland Primary School, Lauren will be able to share her first hand experiences of teaching Digital Technologies with you. She’s very excited about the new Digital Technologies curriculum and is looking forward to sharing what she has learnt with other educators in Queensland.

LaurenStanhopeLLauren is passionate about Cyber Safety and teaching students not just how to use and understand technologies but also how to use them safely. It is fantastic that this is also recognised in the Digital Technologies curriculum so that all Australian students are learning how to operate safely in an online world. She enjoys coordinating the robotics program at her school and particularly loves watching students grow and learn through this program. Robotics is such a fantastic way for students to develop computational thinking, team work skills and resilience. Lauren is looking forward to visiting schools in Queensland and helping teachers to develop their understanding of Digital Technologies and assist you with implementing these skills into your classrooms.

If you are in Queensland and would like to contact Lauren to arrange a free professional learning event for your school or community, please register your contact details here.
