CSER would like to welcome our newest Project Officer, Peter Lelong, representing Tasmania! Peter Lelong has been a Digital Technologies educator supporting all three jurisdictions in Tasmania. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator (2004) and a Google Educator. He works with teachers and students across all year levels and curriculum areas from F – 12.

He has represented Catholic Education and Independent schools accessing resources from the Scootle repository and assists teachers in developing an awareness in the use of online resources. Currently he is working with schools on the introduction and integration of Digital Technologies in the Australian curriculum.

Peter is a teacher of thirty eight years having taught in both Primary and Secondary schools in Western Australia and Tasmania. Peter continually seeks to further his understanding of new trends in the integration of technologies in the classroom and in 2016 was invited to collaborate in the writing of the Horizon Report..

Peter has always and a particular interest in the use of communications projects to engage students in looking beyond the classroom, More recently he established links between indigenous students in the Northern Territory with their peers in Tasmania.
