Susie Barber joins CSER as our Project Manager!

CSER would like to welcome Susie Barber as our new Project Manager. Susie has worked in education policy, program and project delivery at both national and state level for over 17 years. Her interest in education and sustainable career pathways for young people has resulted in her working on career and employment related projects as well as skills training and mental health and wellbeing programs.

Susie BarberSusie has worked on a variety of national education initiatives including the myfuture.edu.au career information website, The Real Game career education program and Year 12, What’s Next? website. Her experience in the employment and skills area includes contract management of Employment Service providers for the Australian Government, and Operations Manager at an Industry Skills Council. More recently, she worked at the South Australian Parliament as a Researcher and Executive Officer for the Economic and Finance Committee which provided opportunity to consider inquiry topics relating to barriers to employment participation and the impact of the NBN rollout.

Most recently, Susie worked for Principals Australia Institute as Operations Manager assisting in the delivery of whole school mental health and wellbeing frameworks, KidsMatter Primary and MindMatters, to over 4000 schools across Australia. Susie is looking forward to working with the CSER Digital Technology community and supporting schools and educators in this exciting and vital area of knowledge and skill development.
