Digital Enterprise Project Empowers Youth With Disabilities

Noel Lindsay, ECIC Director, has been involved in a national project exploring the use of technology to assist young people with disabilities to enter the workforce.

Lead by the University of South Australia’s Associate Professor Denise Wood, the Digital Enterprise: Pathways to Education and Employment for Young People with Disabilities project has received major funding from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to the tune of $2.97 million. The project is trialling its “technology enhanced learning modules”  nationally as part of the NBN-Enabled Education and Skills Services Program.
