On 4 October 2013, Adelaide is playing host to the SouthStart, Startup Business Conference and Expo, as a part of what’s known as the ‘Start up Spring Festival’ – a 3 week Australia wide an event aimed at celebrating and promoting the tech startup community in Australia.

Held at the Adelaide Festival Centre, the expo will feature over 20 speakers presenting their journeys, inspirations and insights into their businesses.

Attendees will also have the chance to pitch their ideas to not only guests but potential investors, customers, staff, partners and advisors. With $2000 up for grabs as well, it presents a fantastic opportunity for businesses still in the start-up phase. To be considered for this opportunity, you must attend a pre-selection panel on 26 September from 5 to 7pm at the Majoran Distillery.
