2015 Australian eChallenge

And last, but not least, the Australian eChallenge officially launches into France in 2015, offering French students an opportunity to launch their entrepreneurial ventures in South Australia. Over a 12 week team period, teams from Universities throughout France are offered help in the form of a series of workshops and the support of a mentor from the South Australian business community.

ECIC and Family Business Education and Research Group (FBERG), in partnership with Family Business Australia and the Department of State Development, are introducing a family business stream into the Australian eChallenge program. To be called ‘The Australian eChallenge NextGen’, this exciting new stream will initially be offered in South Australia in 2015 and nationally from 2016. The overarching purpose of the NextGen eChallenge is to assist family enterprises in cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of leaders.

ECIC and Microsoft are joining forces to deliver the TechChallenge. This is a course that students can enrol into, where the focus is on providing an innovative ICT solution addressing local priorities with the vision of resulting in a world class solution. Students will be required to have a working prototype of an app or software solution by the end of the program where they will present their product at an industry Demo day in order to win first prize.
