35% of USA Entrepreneurs are Dyslexic!

A study conducted by Professor Julie Logan (Cass Business School, London) in 2008 found that 35% of entrepreneurs in the USA were dyslexic! To further explore this phenomenon a research study is now being conducted in Australia by PhD candidate, Karen Franks at Deakin University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Community (CEIC), under the supervision of Professor Howard Frederick. The aim of this research study is to investigate what factors are associated with this high incidence. To conduct this research effectively we need to interview people who have ideally been clinically assessed with dyslexia and also own their own business(es), however if you haven’t been assessed but struggled at school with reading, spelling or writing difficulties you may still be able to participate. If you are interested in being a part of this important study or want to know more please contact Karen Franks on 0414908853 or email.
