The Global Learning Office is accepting application submissions for the Christchurch Earthquake Study Tour.
Created by the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering and run by Professor Michael Griffith, the program will investigate the impact of the devastating sequence of earthquakes in Christchurch in 2010 – 2011.
Local experts will present lectures and host field trips to give first-hand accounts of the broad range of technical issues faced by engineers in limiting the damage posed by earthquakes, and how to deal with the aftermath of widespread damage to buildings in the city.
