Congratulations AAPG and SPE Student Chapters

The Australian School of Petroleum’s student chapters of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) have been awarded one of Total’s Dream Ticket Grants – an award of €4,000 (approximately equivalent to A$6280), which will help cover the cost of a field trip to the Otway Basin, jointly run by the AAPG and SPE student chapters.

The grant was one of ten successful applications from the 39 submitted from 18 countries. Congratulations to all involved!

The Total Dream Ticket grants allow student chapters and student associations in the fields of geosciences and petroleum engineering to organise study trips, participate in international conferences and other relevant activities, which support the development of technical and professional knowledge.
