Google Anita Borg Scholarship Closes 15th May!

Dr. Anita Borg (1949-2003) devoted her life to revolutionizing the way
we think about technology and dismantling the barriers that keep
women and minorities from entering the computing and technology
fields. In honor of Anita’s vision, Google is proud to offer the Google
Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship which awards a group of female
students each a scholarship for the 2016-17 academic year.

All scholarship recipients will also be invited to visit the Google
Hyderabad office in India for a networking retreat this year.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • Be a female student enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate study in the 2016 academic year.
  • Be enrolled in a university in Asia Pacific. Citizens, permanent residents, and international students are eligible to apply.
  • Be majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion for increasing the involvement of women in computer science.
