School of Economics hosts the Australian Cliometrics Workshop

On Friday, June 20th the School of Economics hosted the Australian Cliometrics Workshop, a new academic meeting for Economic Historians started in connection with the Centre of Economic History. A dozen scholars from universities around Australia participated in extensive and fruitful discussions around selected research presentations, which were given by Laura Panza (UniMelb), Trevor Kollmann (RMIT), William Coleman (ANU) and Florian Ploeckl (Adelaide). The workshop not only led to an exchange of ideas but also provided a valuable networking opportunity for Economic Historians in Australia and concluded fittingly with drinks and a joint dinner.
